Our jewelery is water resistant not water proof. It is 18k or 24k gold plated which can fade over time in water. It is recommended that you take off your jewelry when applying oils, lotions, self tanners, etc.
All jewelery should not tarnish, however, they may fade in color. They will fade into a silver color as the gold plating can wear away over time.*
